The Duke of Edinburgh's International Award Program is a voluntary program enhancing positive, personal development for young people aged 14 to 25 years.
At Annandale Christian College, this program is offered from Year 9, where participants seek to qualify for the first level (Bronze Award), and continues into Years 11 and 12 with Silver and Gold Awards. The four components of the award – Service, Skills, Physical Recreation and Adventurous Journey – plus the additional Residential Project required for the Gold Award, reflect the values of College life as we grow confident, caring leaders willing to serve others before self.
